New Starter Induction – Stage 2

Field Care/Seniors/Mentors/HR:
• 2 shadow shifts with Care Mentors – Shadowing Record must be signed off Daily
• 1 shadow shift with Care Senior – Complete, Check and Sign Off Shadow Record
• Moving & Handling Practical Competency
• Medication Practical Competency
• Care Certificate Practical Competency
• (One additional shadow shift may be required, in order to meet competencies)
• Sign off if Competent and Confident, if not Competent refer to HR Officer

Admin Team:
• New Care Worker be issued with ID Badge & Uniforms and given login details for the Rostering and Client Information App.

HR:
0 Hours Contract of Employment, Training Agreement, Confidentiality, 48 Opt Out Agreement to be completed and signed.
